3rd Graders are working on their projects for their upcoming Language Artist field trip at the GRAM!  They are creating their own textured habitat for their invented mixed up creatures.  Once their art is complete they will work with their classroom teachers to create a narrative about their creature.  Research supports connecting art to writing to enhance students' writing skills.  The field trip at the GRAM focuses on concepts of description, compare/contrast, beginning/middle/end, and problem/solution.
