Winter fun!

This is with my own kiddos, it is a fun and colorful way to enjoy the snow with your kids!

To share a little bit about myself; I am a Grand Valley gradate with a K-12 Visual Art certification, emphasis in painting. I also have a K-6th elementary education endorsement and a masters in educational differentiation. I am a strong believer in core curriculum integration and teaching students 21st century thinking skills.

All Kids Can Create!!

1st Grade Dancing Giraffes

Inspired by the book Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae.

Colorful Creations!

1st Grade and 2nd Grade Colorful Creations

3rd Grade Warm and Cool Landscape Study

The 3rd graders drew landscapes with glue then they followed specific color schemes to color in their shapes. They also demonstrated their ability to create tints!

4th Grade Peacocks!

Students first drew their peacocks then they painted them while learning about color schemes. They also added details with matellic makers and paint!

5th Grade Bayou Banyan Trees

Students learned about the color wheel and deomonstrated their color blending skills.

6th Grade Identity Fingerprints

Students filled their fingerprints with words that defined their identity. Then they created a background that was meaningful to them.
